Chroma Technology Update COVID-19

Chroma is dedicated to the success of our customers and the health and well-being of our employees. Given the severity of the COVID-19 outbreak we want to reassure all of our customers that Chroma is taking proactive steps to safeguard the health of our workforce, slow the spread of the virus in our community, and minimize the risk of disruption to our operations.

A majority of our sales, customer service, engineering, and administration staff are telecommuting. Staff continue to be available through the same email addresses and phone extensions that you currently use. We have appropriate IT infrastructure to support this remote work activity and this transition should not have an impact on our responsiveness.  For direct production workers we have added additional shifts and rebalanced existing shifts to support social distancing without reducing total weekly production capacity.

We have suspended business travel and access to our facility has been restricted to employees and critical vendors only.  We have worked with our suppliers to assess their capacity and continue to monitor supply chain developments so that we can take action as needed to appropriately manage our raw material inventories.

We know we have a special responsibility as many of our customers play a role in the diagnosis, containment and ultimately the prevention of COVID-19. We are carefully monitoring this rapidly changing situation and reviewing our response on a daily basis to ensure that we are doing the best we can to meet your needs in these extraordinary times.

For our own planning purposes, it would be very helpful to receive timely notification from you if you anticipate a significant change in your filter needs. We will of course notify you as quickly as possible if our ability to meet your needs changes.
