89 North’s Julie Martin Received by Governor Scott at State House

COVID protocols prevented the governor from meeting with Julie following her being awarded the Manufacturing Institute’s STEP Ahead Award. Now that the coast is a bit clearer, he extended an invitation for Julie to attend coffee hour with him at the State House. The Governor asked a lot of questions about 89 North, its relationship with Chroma Technology, its product line and customers, as well as the factors guiding the firms growth. Also in attendance were Lindsay Kurrle, Secretary of Agency of Commerce & Community Development, and Betsy Bishop, President of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. The meeting ended with Secretary Kurrle and Governor Scott requesting an opportunity to visit 89 North in their Williston facility. So watch this space and we’ll keep you up to date!
